Ceremony Experiences

Personal by Design

Every ceremony is especially crafted by Carole to reflect who you both are as individuals and as a couple. Through an online questionnaire or Zoom meet, Carole learns who you are, how you met, and your dreams for your future together. The focal point, of course, is your story—your “Meet Cute.”

With this information, Carole drafts your customized ceremony which includes not only your story, but several selections for you to choose from for special readings, ring exchange, and the declaration of intent (the “I do.”). While most couples prefer to write their own vows, Carole will also write vows or provide vow writing assistance, if requested.

You receive a draft of your entire ceremony, in advance, beginning to end, which gives you an opportunity to make your selections and changes or edits you prefer.

Questions, considered

Before you choose

A few useful answers for the beginning of your ceremony planning.

How do we know which ceremony experience is right for us?

Start with the shape that feels closest to your celebration. The consultation is where scope, priorities, and fit are clarified before any booking decision.

Can we include personal vows, readings, or cultural traditions?

Yes. The discovery conversation is designed to understand what is meaningful to you. Specific elements are discussed with care and included only when they belong in your ceremony.

Is rehearsal support available?

Yes. Rehearsal needs can be discussed during consultation. Availability and scope are confirmed before booking.

Who is responsible for filing our marriage license?

The Officiant is responsible for filing the signed (and, if required, witnessed) marriage license within a specified time period following the ceremony. That time period varies from state to state and county to county. To be certain that the license is properly delivered, Carole either hand delivers it, or mails it USPS with tracking. Carole then provides you with a copy of the tracking information so everyone knows its progress and delivery.

Should my officiant and wedding planner communicate before the wedding day?

It is always important for the Officiant and Planner to communicate prior to Day Of. The Planner is the person responsible for, among other things, the timing and beginning of the processional. It’s important that the Planner know at what point in the Officiant’s welcome to the guests to begin the processional. This helps the entire wedding begin with a smooth and well-organized flow.

With Love. For Love.
